Accountability matters.

It was a thought-provoking and rewarding experience to have Aliza Shatzman, president and founder at the Legal Accountability Project (LAP), join us on the latest episode of our dedicated LegalTech Startup Spotlight series.

In this episode, we focused our discussion on the scene surrounding legal clerkships in the USA. An open and frank discussion focused both on the hassles and the opportunities, with the LAP paving a path toward delivering a better experience for new candidates driven by Aliza’s overwhelming passion for making legal training and culture better.

In our interaction, we tried to cover as much as possible on this topic, including some fundamentals of the federal and state legislation touched by LAP’s mission. At The Law of Tech, we support the importance for every individual young legal professional to keep maintaining an inquisitive, personal, and respectful approach to experiences, and stress the importance of encouraging diversity not just with words, but also with facts.

Take a listen to the latest episode of #thelawoftech podcast, where we talk more about the mission and vision of the LAP and the path toward making legal clerkships in the US more accessible, diverse and inclusive through data and technology.
